About

Prayer Works is designed to strengthen your prayer life. The author of this site has a heart for prayer and a desire to encourage others to learn how to grow in their relationship with God. Prayer allows you to tap into wisdom, peace, protection, healing, and a variety of other benefits, simply by making your requests known to God.

Rhonda D. has learned a great deal about prayer through personal experiences as well as mentoring and research. She abides by the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14 which states “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Rhonda wants you to gain the benefits of her experiences as an Intercessor, attendee to numerous prayer retreats and conferences, and supporter of several broader prayer initiatives including weekly prayer calls, monthly Taizé prayer services, National Day of Prayer, city-wide prayer movements and three-day Christian movements including Christian Cursillo, Tres Dias, and Walk to Emmaus.

  1. I am really enjoying reading your articles. I am struggling with being consistent in having a prayer time and place. Seems like over the years it is getting worse than better.
I will pray God bless you to continue to bless others!

    • Thank you for your encouraging words Sister Cheryl! I agree that life does not care about our desire to be consistent in our prayer lives. The good part is, as the song says “King Jesus is a’listening when we pray.” The Lord knows our hearts and those “breath prayers” – a single thought or statement a moment before we exit a vehicle, open a door, answer the phone, prepare a meal, or get out of bed, brings about a mindfulness of inviting God into every detail of our day. Keep seeking the Lord and declaring His goodness!
